This collection is a Divine Expression and an exploration of the profound resilience inherent in contemporary South Indian women. As "Sources of Strength", these portraits celebrate the powerful interplay between spiritual heritage and modern identity. Each figure draws mythological inspiration from the various incarnations of Goddess Durga to embody the timeless grace and fortitude of the women who reflect these divine qualities in our everyday lives. Stylistically, the artworks fuse the vibrant, intricate patterning of Madhubani folk art, the dynamic, thick outlines and expressive storytelling of Kalighat painting with my unique technique of piping paint.
