Commission an Original Artwork

Have you fallen in love with one of my paintings, but wished it were a different size, orientation, or color palette? Perhaps you are looking for a unique work of art for a particular space, a meaningful occasion, or a personal gift.

I welcome commissions that build on the colors, patterns, subjects, and richly textured surfaces that define my work. Each commission is an original painting, created especially for you through my intuitive artistic process.

Creating Something Personal

We begin with a conversation about what you have in mind. You might be drawn to a painting on my website but need a different size or orientation for your space. Perhaps you have a favorite palette, subject, or idea for a meaningful piece.

We discuss the size, orientation, general subject, color direction, and any references or context that matter to you. These details give us a starting point while leaving space for the artwork to develop naturally.

Trusting the Creative Process

My paintings develop intuitively through layers of color, intricate pattern, and hand-applied dimensional texture. I do not prepare sketches for approval or work through rounds of design revisions. Once I begin creating the textured surface, major changes are not possible.

A commission works best when you are familiar with my artwork and trust me to interpret our conversation in my own visual language. The result is an original painting with its own character, not an exact reproduction of another work.

Commission Details

  • Pricing: I do not charge an additional fee for commissioned work. Pricing depends on the artwork, including its size and complexity.
  • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required before I begin work.
  • Timeline: Most commissions take approximately three months to complete.
  • Pickup and shipping: Pickup in Arvada, Colorado, is available at no additional charge. Shipping costs, when applicable, can be discussed in advance.
