Visibility Mandala

Visibility Mandala is a powerful celebration of presence, recognition, and the courage to be seen. A large-scale 36x36 work, it serves as a tribute to claiming space and honoring one's full, authentic self. Created entirely freehand through my signature practice of meditative piping, the vibrant patterns burst outward from the center in a joyful, complex rotational symmetry.

Rooted in the South Indian henna-style geometry of kolam and rangoli traditions, this work translates ephemeral ritual art into a permanent, architectural statement. Every iridescent line and dot is hand-piped in heavy-body acrylic, building a sculptural surface that rises from the clean white canvas. At the heart of the radiating forms lies a luminous dichroic glass center, acting as a focal point that reflects the spectrum of light.

The use of multi-colored iridescent pigments ensures that different textures and hues pop as the light changes throughout the day. From a distance, the symmetry is a bold architectural anchor; up close, the evidence of the hand becomes visible—a measured, intentional human touch.
