Mughal Bloom - 2 | Original Textured Floral Painting

Mughal Bloom 2 is part of a mirrored diptych inspired by the symmetry, gardens, and ornamental detailing of Mughal architecture.

Hand-piped in layered acrylic, each flower is built slowly to create sculptural texture and shadow. The raised surface catches light differently throughout the day, echoing the carved stone relief and rhythmic arches found in Mughal design.

This work stands beautifully on its own, but when paired with Mughal Bloom I, the mirrored compositions create a powerful architectural balance — a visual dialogue of reflection and repetition.

Rooted in South Asian visual language and reimagined through contemporary texture, this piece continues my exploration of pattern as meditation and structure as memory.
