Afternoon Aspens captures the quiet warmth of light filtering through a stand of trees at the height of day. Inspired by the golden stillness of Colorado’s mountain groves, this work translates shifting sunlight into layered, sculptural texture. Using my signature hand-piped technique, each mark is individually formed in heavy-body acrylic, creating a dimensional surface that rises from the panel.
